update 1: descending into the world of ys

it's been just over a month and since then i've got a few more ys games under my belt, whether that would be purchases or actually playing them. in finishing origins today, i think i can continue the remaining games in chronological order.

1. Ys Origin
✔️ have played (finished 23.11.24)
felt good to play, a tad repetitive in going through the same areas for all 3 characters but there was a unique experience for each story. i really enjoyed the napishtim-styled games.

2. Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished: Omen
❌ purchased but not played
most likely the next game to play!

3. Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished: The Final Chapter
❌ purchased but not played
still planning to play this after ys 1.

4. Ys X: Nordics
❌ purchased but only played demo
i ended up purchasing the game on impulse while on a trip cause i wanted to get the free dlc before it was too late haha.

5. Ys: Memories of Celceta (Ys IV)
❌ purchased but not played

6. Ys: The Oath in Felghana (Ys III)
✔️ have played (finished 28.9.24)

6.5. Ys III: Wanderers from Ys (Ys III)
✔️ have played (finished 23.10.24)
i discovered this game was on the switch eshop and gave it a go. this game was more sufferable than felghana, and less fun. nevertheless i don't regret experiencing it.

7. Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand
❌ not played
recently learnt there's a fan translation of the game so i want to keep an eye out for it...

8. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana
❌ purchased but not played

9. Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim
✔️ have played (finished 13.10.24)

10. Ys SEVEN

11. Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
❌ not played
