update 2: descending into the world of ys

almost another month through and more ys games completed, progress is being made! i'm enjoying adol and the world of ys!

1. Ys Origin

2. Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished: Omen
✔️ have played (finished 28.11.24)
bump combat sure is a thing huh. the bat boss and final boss gave me so much pain. and yet this game does have its charms too. but i'm not sure if it's a game i'll revisit again for fun haha.

3. Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished: The Final Chapter
✔️ have played (finished 30.11.24)
thankful for the improved combat in this game, but still have the same feelings like with ys 1, probably not a game to revisit. experiencing it once was enough. i got very lost in the shrine and canals.

4. Ys X: Nordics
✔️ have played (finished 15.12.24)
it starts off slow and the combat takes a while to get used to but once you get into it, it's pretty fun. i adore karja and the sandras crew, baggage and all. love most of the OST too.

5. Ys: Memories of Celceta (Ys IV)
❌ purchased but not played
as of right now i'm still taking a small break after nordics before i jump into celceta, but will tackle it soon!

6. Ys: The Oath in Felghana (Ys III)
