the first ys ix song that really grabbed me the instant i heard it.

Beyond the Auspicious Clouds - Nobunaga's Ambition: Haouden | 🎵 listen ➚
i've enjoyed yoko kanno's work for some time thanks to anime like darker than black, kids on the slope and cowboy bebop, and it was by chance i listened to some of her songs online without knowing the original source. only recently i've reorganised my personal music library and discovered these songs were from the game series nobunaga's ambition. was i familiar with the series? not at all, but nevertheless i'm drawn into these songs.

guess i could have added this for last year but i only thought about the metaphor ost again now that the full version is out. really wish they included the english version of this song cause i got chills the first time listening to this along with the cutscene.

i already expected to like this song since i enjoyed the falcom acoustic version of it but hearing it in-game made me love it so much more.

Frontier Town -Casnan- - Ys: Foliage Ocean in Celceta | 🎵 listen ➚
it's just such a catchy tune and i associate with this song the most when i think of celceta.
