so the legend of heroes: trails huh?

is it happening again? another decent into a video game series that i was not expecting to happen? i was not all that familiar with the legend of heroes (or is it just 'trails'? i'm still new and trying to decipher everything right now hurts the brain) but i suppose it was a natural journey towards it since i’ve dipped my toes into ys and the falcom games in general. plus my friend gifted me the first game so it was only a matter of time until i played it. will i keep going with this series though who’s to say? unlike ys these games seem much longer, but i guess i’ll have this for future reference (using wiki ➚ as a ref for now).
as of writing this i've finished 2 of the trials in the sky games and have promptly fell for estelle and joshua, i adore these kids.
1. Trails in the Sky FC

my first trails game and gosh i wasn't prepared for what was coming to me. i already liked the aesthetics cause it reminded me of the napishtim engine ys games, plus the ost was very strong out of the gate. story and characters were very strong too and i was really drawn in overall.
1.5. Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (i.e. the FC remake)

i played the demo a few months back and enjoyed what i experienced, and now having finished the original i'm quite keen on seeing the cutscenes fully animated and voiced. just waiting on find a good deal to buy this...

couldn't resist jumping into the next one since it left off directly from the first story. overall another banger with great character development, songs, and story once again. and while it has hooked me in to check out the next game... might try a short break considering this file took 77 hours of my life.
