art summary 2025

it's that time again. looking back it seems this year has been filled with lots of small drawings, largely thanks to taskmaster. nothing too significant in terms of art improvment (frankly i think i've stagnated towards the end of the year due to major burnout) but overall, not bad. if i try to think about any highlights...
- it was around feb that i finished compiling my series of adol drawings for every game
- feb was also the start of my taskmaster drawings which practically continued almost every month
- i spontaneously participated in mermay during may. something about thinking of a sea creature and turning them into a mermaid was quite fun, and a nice distraction for myself during that time
- looking back on the year i made quite a bit of wooacry merch for myself as well...! from a tote bag, stickers, acrylic standees and charms, plush badge, spinner acrylic, photocards, wooden charms, lenticular card, magnet... dang it was quite a lot. i want to keep experimenting and be indulgent in making stuff for myself. and maybe, one day i perhaps even consider creating a shop again
- for my music channel i've drawn more 'polished' illustrations for some mixes. it was an opportunity to draw something more detailed but i feel i still have a long way to go. nevertheless i'm glad i was able to complete them in the first place
- lastly i had the opportunity to work on some twitch related commissions this year, an animated emote and an animated starting screen. both had their challenges but i'm thankful my clients enjoyed what they received
